We are seeking a Product Development Specialist to join a major player in the fashion industry in Montreal!

Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end product development and production process- ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Collaborate closely with design, merchandising, and sourcing teams to bring products from concept to market.
Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain consistent quality.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, particularly within leather goods.
Track production timelines, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address delays or quality concerns.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in product development and production,



ideally within handbags or related accessories.
Robust technical knowledge of materials, leather, and handbag construction.
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a rapid-paced environment.
Solid communication skills with factories and cross-functional teams, including overseas partners.
Experience with costing processes and working with offshore teams to meet targeted margins.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
