We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to join our siding crew. As a labourer, you will assist with the installation and removal of exterior siding, site preparation, clean-up, and general support for skilled tradespeople. This is a physically demanding outdoor job that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of vinyl, wood, aluminum, or fiber cement siding
Load, unload, and move materials and equipment to job sites
Prepare and maintain job sites, including setup and clean-up
Use hand and power tools under supervision
Measure, cut, and fit materials as directed
Remove old siding or damaged materials
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Support siding installers and crew leaders as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Previous construction or siding experience is an asset but not required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Comfortable working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding
Basic understanding of hand and power tools
Willingness to learn and take direction
Punctual, dependable, and hardworking
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
