Build a Career, Not Just the Next Job
If you’re an experienced industrial painter looking for more than repetitive work at one site or chasing the next shutdown, this is worth a closer look.
We offer something different: access to multiple union employers under one agreement, steady opportunities across shipyard, shop, and field work, and optional travel/LOA opportunities offered to proven employees for specialized or higher-demand projects.
This is a long-term career path—not just another project.
With full apprenticeship support and a explicit path to Red Seal Certification, painters can continue building their trade while gaining recognized hours and experience across multiple environments. We also provide access to industry-recognized AMPP training, including CAS, C3, and C5, giving you credentials that move with you throughout your career.
What You’ll Be Doing
Surface preparation using hand tools, power tools, and abrasive blasting
Applying industrial coatings by brush, roll, conventional spray, and airless spray
Working with epoxies, urethanes, zincs, and specialty coatings
Reading and following coating specifications and quality requirements
Working safely in shipyards, shops,
industrial sites, and field environments
Coordinating with supervisors and other trades to keep projects moving
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of industrial painting experience
Experience in shipyards, structural steel, tanks, bridges, marine, or heavy industrial environments
Strong prep skills and understanding of proper coating application
Experience with blasting and spray equipment is an asset
Safety-focused and reliable
Red Seal certification is a robust asset
