Job Summary

We are hiring a Welder/Fitter for an opportunity in a heavy steel fabrication and manufacturing environment in Holland Landing, ON. This role is ideal for a skilled MIG welder who enjoys custom fabrication work, reading shop drawings, fitting steel components, and producing high-quality welds in a team-focused shop setting.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team with training provided on the day shift before moving into an afternoon schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Fit and weld heavy steel components using MIG welding processes.
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and weld diagrams to complete work accurately.
Use hand tools, torches, and shop equipment to prepare, fit, assemble, and finish components.
Inspect work for accuracy, alignment,



weld quality, and conformance to project requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following shop safety procedures.
Assist with custom fabrication, machining, and assembly tasks as required.

Compensation and Benefits
Direct hire opportunity.
Pay rate: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience, including premium rate.
Increase after 3 months.
Afternoon shift starting at 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.
Must be available to train from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
