Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Restaurant Server to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing outstanding customer service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a lively and enjoyable workplace for all patrons.
We are looking for permanent full time or part time experienced Japanese dining servers. Must have a minimum of 6 months of prior Japanese restaurant experience.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression
Take accurate food and beverage orders using ProServe
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials or beverages to enhance their experience
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, ensuring food safety and proper food handling practices
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
Requirements
Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced workplace
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cashiering, math calculations, and cash handling tasks
Excellent communication skills to assist guests and work seamlessly with team members
Hospitality mindset with a passion for serving others and creating memorable guest experiences
