Job Summary

The Plant Controller will play a key leadership role in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, cost control, forecasting, budgeting, inventory controls, and plant-level financial performance. Key Responsibilities
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes,



including preparation of financial statements in accordance with Canadian GAAP.
Analyze P&L; variances and operational KPIs, including scrap, downtime, headcount, energy efficiency, production costs, and related performance indicators.
Manage accounting cycles, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, costing, fixed assets, inventory, treasury, and cash flow forecasting.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, year-end reporting, tax filing coordination, capital expenditure reporting, and external audit requirements.
Establish and maintain financial policies, controls, and procedures to safeguard assets and reduce the risk of errors or fraud.
Supervise, coach, cross-train, and develop accounting staff while building strong relationships with plant leadership.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $125,000 to $145,000 per year.
