Looking to hire a seasonal harvest employee for a family-run operation outside of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Not looking to sponsor an out of country employee at this time. Work will start middle of August and run until the end of the season; middle-to-end of October, but may end sooner.

Applicants must be reliable and hard-working. Being the operations busiest time of year, reliability and work ethic is a non-negotiable asset.

Working using contemporary farming equipment will include running tractors, combines, moving vehicles, performing straightforward repairs, and other common farm labor tasks.

Basic mechanical knowledge and a valid class 5 drivers license are required, while heavy equipment operational experience, a class 1 or 3 license,



and previous farm experience are an asset.

Dinners are provided in the field. Wage is flat rate hourly based on experience, and during harvest the hours per day and work week may fluctuate due to weather constraints. Job term is 1 month minimum, with the right candidate having the potential for longer term employment with the farm.
