Valid Class DZ License in Positive Standing Required
Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience operating heavy equipment and large trucks, minimum 6 months experience
Physical ability to lift up to 20 kgs and work in outdoor conditions all year
Ability to follow route and work
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of health and safety practices and follow up policies
Ability to maintain qualified attitude

What will you be doing?
Collect residential garbage using the sanitation truck
Operate loaders and compactors for landfill maintenance
Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
Guide residents to correct landfill disposal areas
Enforce waste diversion rules per Municipal by-law
Maintain public drop-off area and conduct litter patrols

40 hours per week @ $33.86 per hour
