Role Description

We are looking for someone who is not afraid to take on challenges. Our next colleague must be capable of estimating projects of both small and large scale .

Qualifications
Reading, analyzing, and interpreting plans and specifications
Estimating material costs and labor costs
Receiving, analyzing, and processing bids within the required deadlines
Engaging with current and potential suppliers and subcontractors
Ensuring transparent communication regarding various costs and timelines
Ensuring compliance with the rules and expectations of the Humaco Group
Presenting and closing bids




Evaluating and presenting project risks and constraints to management
Assessing and planning work methods for the smooth execution of tasks
Participating in the management of awarded contracts
Managing costs and evaluating project profitability
Responding to technical inquiries from job sites
Evaluating and negotiating necessary changes or additions
Preparing documentation for compensation requests and/or claims
Performing any related tasks

Profile Sought
Degree in estimation or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Significant experience in estimation (3 to 5 years)
Computer skills: Windows setting, MS Project, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), Planswift
Ability to read plans and specifications
Autonomy, resourcefulness, and a sense of priorities
Organizational skills and sense of responsibility
Problem-solving abilities and quick, informed decision-making
Adherence to deadlines, speed, and efficiency
Professionalism and discretion
Spoken language: Advanced English and French
