Willow Tree Wellness & Psychotherapy is a growing private practice in Pickering specializing in compassionate, evidence-based therapy for children, teens, adults, and families. We’re looking for a warm, collaborative Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) to join our team on a part-time contract basis.

This is an in-person position in Pickering. Applicants must be able to reliably work from our Pickering office.

We’re especially looking for a clinician who enjoys working with children and teens while also having the ability to support adult clients. Experience working with children as young as 5 is strongly preferred, although experience with children ages 8+ is required. Experience providing family or couples therapy is an asset but is not required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who wants to build a meaningful private-practice caseload while being supported by a clinic that handles the administrative side of practice. Referrals are generated through ongoing clinic marketing, and clinicians receive administrative support with scheduling, billing, and client management 7 days a week.

What You’ll Do

- Provide individual psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults
- Work with children ages 8+; experience with children as young as 5 is strongly preferred
- Conduct intake assessments, ongoing assessments, individual sessions, and parent consultations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs and goals
- Support parents and caregivers as appropriate




- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in Jane EMR in accordance with OCSWSSW requirements
- Collaborate with the clinic owner and other clinicians around clinical resources, referrals, and best practices
- Participate in optional peer consultation and professional development opportunities
- Family or couples therapy experience is an asset, but not required

What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Social Work and current OCSWSSW registration
- Experience providing psychotherapy to children and teens
- Comfortable working with adult clients as well
- Experience working with children ages 8+; experience with children ages 5–7 is strongly preferred
- Experience may include clinical employment, private practice, placements, practicums, or other relevant clinical roles
- Warm, compassionate, creative, and client-centered therapeutic approach
- Comfortable working independently while also being part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable using Jane EMR and basic technology such as Microsoft Teams and OneDrive
- Family and/or couples therapy experience is an asset, but not required

What We Offer

Competitive per-session compensation

- Clinicians retain 60% of session fees
- Flat-rate compensation based on session length




- Rates vary based on 40-, 50- 60, 90-minute sessions
- 50-minute individual 17+ sessions are $175 ($105 to clinician)
- Family/couples therapy experience is an asset and may qualify for additional session rates

Flexible scheduling

We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to approximately 3 shifts per week, with availability finalized based on clinic needs and the clinician's schedule.
