Become a Genocide Studies Teacher at Charles Bloom Secondary for one block in Social Studies, starting September 8, 2026, and concluding January 31, 2027. This temporary contract position is ideal for enthusiastic educators.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a valid BC Teaching Certificate and a relevant Bachelor of Education. Teaching experience in the subject area and a robust grasp of curricular content and resources are needed. Candidates should also be skilled in a range of teaching methodologies and demonstrate effective teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach students in Genocide Studies 12 during assigned block
• Employ wide-ranging instructional and assessment strategies
• Collaborate with educational staff to improve learning
• Manage classroom environment effectively
• Use technology in educational practices
Requirements:
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate and qualification card
• Relevant Bachelor's degree in Education
• Proven history in teaching social studies
