Position Overview
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full‑time Grade 3 teaching position at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This position will begin August 27, 2026 and end June 30, 2027.

Key Requirements

Certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph’s College – asset

Ability to assist in the school’s co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programs – considered an asset

Current Criminal Record Check (within 6 months) inclusive of a vulnerable sector check

Current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within 6 months)

Benefits
The Government of Canada offers Student Loan Forgiveness to teachers who work in Wetaskiwin for 10 consecutive months and have a student loan in good standing.



Teachers may receive up to 30000 over a maximum of 5 years.
