Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Toronto, ON. The Reporter will be responsible for researching, gathering, and verifying information related to company activities, local events, and industry developments.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting interviews, writing news-style articles and internal reports, and producing multimedia content such as photos or short videos to support stories. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely communication, maintaining editorial standards, and meeting regular deadlines. The Reporter will also monitor relevant news sources and community channels to identify topics that may impact the business or its customers.

Qualifications

- Strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging stories.
- Excellent Communication skills, including interviewing, information gathering,



and presenting complex topics in accessible language.
- Demonstrated Writing skills for different formats (articles, briefs, internal updates) with attention to grammar and style.
- Experience with Multimedia content creation, such as basic photography, video, or digital publishing tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Familiarity with local news, retail operations, or community reporting is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
