WSP invites geotechnical professionals for a fly-in/fly-out role in Fort McMurray’s groundbreaking oil sands program. During your two weeks in office, you will manage critical geotechnical investigations, collaborating with a vast team of experts. This position contributes significantly to a multi-year project that shapes resource development in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for safety protocols and practices
• Perform drilling, soil sampling, and monitoring tasks
• Organize and maintain field data logs
• Assist in laboratory testing for design input
• Work alongside cross-functional teams on-site
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology preferred
• Experience in field-based geotechnical investigations
• Familiarity with industry-standard data software
• Robust organizational and independent work skills
• Valid driver’s license with camp work eligibility
