This role is essential in Kensington Gardens, where you will directly impact the quality of care our residents receive. Your work will involve coordinating care for residents, conducting assessments, and maintaining a protected and compassionate workplace. You will also participate in the development of care strategies guided by legislation and best practices in nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate resident care on assigned RHAs
• Conduct assessments for health condition changes
• Inform families of care and health updates
• Foster teamwork and collaboration among staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience in geriatric care
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge of nursing best practices and trends
• Multilingual skills are beneficial
• Certification in Gerontology preferred
