BC Hydro is in search of an Engineer for Smart Metering Solutions, focusing on the design and implementation of advanced revenue metering systems. This full time role supports vital projects while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.

In this role, you will support the lifecycle of smart revenue meters, delivering solutions from design to troubleshooting. Your expertise will guide technical standards and contribute to metering strategies at BC Hydro. A relevant Bachelor's degree and extensive engineering experience are required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support for smart meter lifecycle
• Safely design and implement revenue metering installations
• Investigate and resolve metering system issues




• Develop technical guidelines and checklists
• Support compliance with regulatory metering standards

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least eight years of applicable engineering experience
• Registration eligibility with Engineers and Geoscientists of BC
• Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Understanding of metering infrastructure and telecom systems
