Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia. We are currently seeking a Custodian Services Technician to support our Atlantic Operations. This role is a full time, max-term position, reporting to the Site Project Superintendent and will be based at our Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.

The Opportunity
Ensuring own Health & Safety as well as that of all other workers, identifying and maintaining safe work practices and completing all required safety training.
Emptying garbage bins on a regular basis
Ensuring washrooms are clean and well stocked with necessary supplies
Adhering to cleaning schedules set forth by management
Ensuring wet floor signs are put in the proper place after mopping the floor
Ensuring that cleaning tasks are executed in a timely and orderly manner
Working as part of a team to execute cleaning duties
Reporting any repairs to site services technicians so they can make the necessary repairs
Reporting any health and safety hazards or violations to health and safety officers
Maintaining a proper inventory of cleaning supplies and materials needed





Our Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following
Unencumbered Class 5 driver's license
Behaviour consistent with St Barbara’s Values
Ability to pass a criminal background check
At least 1-year experience in a custodian role
