As part of the Radio Communications Branch in the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, you will answer calls and disseminate important information under pressure. Your role is pivotal in relaying sensitive data to authorized personnel and coordinating response efforts during unpredictable situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming emergency and non-emergency calls
• Provide accurate information to government and public stakeholders
• Manage communication during multi-agency crises
• Update and maintain critical road condition data
• Document communications accurately from various systems
Requirements:
• Graduation from high school or GED
• Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field preferred
• Five years experience in customer service or public safety roles
• Proficiency in using computers and telephonic systems
• Must explicit background and security checks
