Wage:$30.17 per hour

Hours of Work: 100 hours over 4 months

Duties:

- Design and Organize special events for the Matriarch Circle with community partners and University researchers.
- Collect and manage research data, conduct analysis of research results and document findings.
- Interpret research finding and perform editorial tasks.
- Contribute to overall activities and internal operation related to the project.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience;

The ideal candidate will

- have a Master’s Degree in a related field or be starting a Master’s Degree,
- have completed research methodology courses at an undergraduate or graduate level,
- have extensive organization skills and sound judgment,
- have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively; robust written communication skills are especially important.
- possess strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated.
- have the ability to work independently and with others effectively.




- have the ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality and research integrity.
- This position requires in-person meetings in Brandon Manitoba. Ability for the same is essential.
- This project is working with Indigenous women, so identity as an Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuk) is an asset.
