Insight Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Residential Supervisors on behalf of one of our valued clients. This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and support within residential programs serving youth and young adults in Scarborough and Pickering.

Key Responsibilities

As a Residential Supervisor, you will:

· Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to frontline staff.

· Foster a positive, collaborative, and strengths-based team environment.

· Support, coach, and mentor staff while promoting best practices in client care.

· Ensure program policies, procedures, and documentation standards are consistently followed.

· Coordinate effectively with colleagues and other program teams to ensure continuity of care.

· Respond to behavioural incidents and crises using approved intervention techniques, including physical interventions when required.

· Build positive, therapeutic relationships with clients through meaningful daily interactions and activities.

· Support clients with community participation and life skills, including activities such as cooking, community outings, and relationship-building.

· Work independently while effectively managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities.

· Maintain flexibility to work across multiple residential program locations as operational needs require.

Qualifications





· Diploma or degree in Child & Youth Care, Social Work, Developmental Services, Psychology, or a related field.

· Previous supervisory or leadership experience within residential, youth, developmental services, mental health, or community settings.

· Strong leadership, crisis intervention, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

· Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.

· Access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel between residential program locations.

· Current Vulnerable Sector Check.

· Current First Aid & CPR Certification.

· CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification is considered a strong asset.

Position Details

· Temporary opportunity

· Approximately 35 hours per week

· $28.00 per hour

· Independent contractor opportunity

· Multiple positions available

· Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call

· Positions located throughout Scarborough and Pickering
