Specific Tasks: Supervise and coordinate activities of department staff and cashiers

Establish work schedule and assign department staff to duties

Resolve department operations or customer service issues that may arise

Prepare reports on department operations based on quality, service, cleanliness, merchandising, and staffing performance

Assist in interviewing and selection of department staff





May perform the same duties as workers supervised

May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, addressing escalated complaints

Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
