Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist – Healthcare Interoperability Client: Supply Ontario | RQ00726 (Hybrid, Toronto, ON, Canada) We are hiring a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support Supply Ontario's Clinical Data Foundation (CDF) Program , a strategic initiative focused on building a cloud-native, scalable electronic health record platform and HL7 FHIR Integration Data Exchange Platform.

This opportunity is ideal for QA professionals with extensive experience in enterprise application testing, UI automation, API testing, healthcare interoperability, HL7 FHIR, and backend systems validation .

The successful candidate will lead quality assurance activities across large-scale healthcare integration projects, ensuring application quality, interoperability, automation coverage, and production readiness.

Position Overview The Clinical Data Foundation (CDF) Program is modernizing Ontario's healthcare ecosystem by establishing a cloud-native HL7 FHIR Integration Data Exchange Platform that supports interoperable clinical data sharing across provincial healthcare systems.

As the Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist , you will design and execute comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies, validate HL7 FHIR resources, perform API and database testing, build scalable UI automation frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of secure, high-quality healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Test Strategy, Functional & Integration Testing (35%)
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, implementation guides, and data mappings
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Validate enterprise workflows across distributed healthcare systems
- Perform defect management and reporting using Jira
- UI Automation & Framework Development (25%)
- Design, build, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks from scratch
- Develop reusable automation components using:

- Selenium

- Playwright
- Create automated test suites using:

- Java





- Python

- JavaScript

- TypeScript
- Optimize automation scripts for maintainability and performance
- Support CI/CD-enabled automated testing
- API, Backend & Database Testing (25%)
- Perform REST and SOAP API testing using:

- Backend integrations
- Conduct database validation using SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and similar technologies
- Verify data integrity across enterprise applications and integrations

- Validate HL7 FHIR R4 resources, including:
