Join a large-scale SaaS migration initiative supporting the modernization of a business-critical enterprise application within a public sector environment. This role leads end-to-end project delivery across SaaS migration planning, stakeholder coordination, systems integration, testing, deployment, and operational transition activities. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary technical, operational, and vendor teams to support business continuity and long-term operational readiness.

The engagement offers a one-year contract with potential extension options on a high-visibility modernization initiative.

Must Haves

- 10+ years managing enterprise technology projects, SaaS implementation, cloud transformation, or enterprise application migration
- Data migration, systems integration, testing, deployment, and operational transition oversight
- Project governance, budgeting, resource planning, procurement, and contract management
- Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies within a PMO workplace
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile or Scrum certification, or Prosci Change Management Certification

Nice to Have

- Experience within public sector, municipal government, utilities, or large enterprise organizations
- Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies, APIs, cloud services, and modern application architectures




- Experience managing implementation vendors and third-party consulting organizations

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute project plans for SaaS migration initiatives
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, deliverables, and resource requirements
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation activities
- Coordinate stakeholders, SaaS vendors, implementation partners, and third-party service providers
- Oversee migration activities including data migration, testing, cutover, stabilization, and deployment readiness
- Coordinate integration planning involving cloud and on-premises systems
- Lead organizational change management, communications, training, and user adoption activities
