Description

We are seeking a caring, engaging, and experienced Homeschool Tutor to provide educational support for three children aged 10, 7, and 4 years old based in Sylvan Lake. The ideal candidate is passionate about child development, able to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles, and comfortable working with children at various educational levels.

This position requires travel to the family's location and the ability to create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning setting.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and learning activities.
Support academic development in subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Create engaging educational experiences tailored to each child's needs and learning style.
Monitor progress and provide regular updates to parents.
Foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
Assist with educational outings and enrichment activities when appropriate.
Maintain a protected, positive,



and organized learning environment.

Qualifications
Previous experience teaching, tutoring, homeschooling, or working with children.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage lessons for multiple age groups.
Patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about education.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.
Background check may be required.

Preferred Qualifications
Education degree, Early Childhood Education certification, or related educational background.
Experience with homeschool curricula and individualized learning plans.
Knowledge of child development and differentiated instruction.

Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
