About the Role
This position will be involved in market & business analysis, product line development, sales & margin reviews, product cost models, development and posting of content marketing for social media, market development, marketing strategies, supporting materials for product launch, and managing the development process.

Qualifications

BSc, BASc, or BEng in Chemical Engineering, Engineering Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Chemistry or Materials Science & Engineering or a business degree with technical experience in film, flexible and rigid packaging markets.

MBA or equivalent sales and/or business experience of 5-10 years in the field.

Required Skills

Knowledge of film, flexible and rigid packaging markets.

Experience in production, plastics, thermoplastics, polyolefins,



polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, formulation, compounding, extrusion, processing and/or films applications.

Project and time management – ability to manage long term projects with minimal supervision.

Ability to work cooperatively as part of a cross‑functional team with peers, managers and technicians.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Ability to communicate professionally, both internally and to customers and suppliers.

Proficient in data analysis, ERPs (preferably SAP) and statistical methods.

Self-driven and results oriented.
