P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd. (PMEL) is a leading Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering consulting firm based in Saskatoon. We are looking for a Field Soils Technician to join our dynamic team and support both field and laboratory testing operations.

What You’ll Do

Conduct field density testing, concrete sampling, and strength testing.

Perform laboratory analysis of soils, including proctors, sieves, Atterberg limits, hydrometers, CBRs, moisture content, and unit weights.

Follow safe work practices and CCIL specifications where applicable.

Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality test results to support engineering decisions.

What You Bring

Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or one or more years of experience with Canadian soils, preferred but not required.

Solid English communication skills, written and verbal.





Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
