Norland is seeking experienced Lead Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team in Victoria, BC, working with Western Grater Contracting. This role involves troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic drilling equipment, as well as related machinery. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and eager to work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and additional training.

What You’ll Need

- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic preferred,



or 3rd or 4th year apprentice
- 3+ years’ experience as a mechanic, preferably with field experience
- Experience with hydraulic drilling equipment, cranes, compressors, excavators, etc.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Valid class 5 driver’s license (no restrictions)
- Safety-focused attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as required

What Will Make You Stand Out

- Previous experience with Drilling Equipment and/or Excavators
- Experience with hydraulic systems/equipment and proficiency in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics
