UQU Creative (Vancouver) is looking to hire Storyboard Artists for story animatic work on the very popular and BAFTA award winning animated interactive narrative game, Dispatch. We're seeking candidates of all levels with a great sense of very grounded and solid subtle expression and acting, strong camera composition/staging and cinematic movement.

Estimated Project Term: September 14, 2026 - February 5, 2027

Responsibilities

• Work with Directors to create storyboards for assigned script pages.

• Develop scenes with solid cinematic direction and staging.

• Deliver the intended dramatic and comedic beats with solid posing and expressiveness.

• Deliver clearly defined drawings that convey the scene creative intents and camera direction.





• Organize and manage storyboard files and deliverables.

• Deliver work to professional standards that meet the required creative direction.

Qualifications

• Proficient in storyboarding for 3D animated content.

• Demonstrated ability to develop storyboards that meet the creative and technical demands.

• Understanding of traditional filmmaking and cinematography principles.

• Strong understanding of anatomy and movement.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
