Position: Scientific Computing Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $80 - $100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

- Provide detailed examples of AI coding agents integrated into scientific computing workflows.
- Demonstrate and document AI agents in navigating large codebases, debugging, and feature implementation.
- Produce high-quality written narratives and verbal explanations of technical approaches and problem-solving strategies.
- Assess and describe the impact of AI agents on ambiguous requirements and architectural updates.
- Submit structured feedback on AI tools' strengths, limitations, and potential improvements in scientific computing.

Requirements





- Have solid relevant experience in scientific computing and AI tool integration.
- Proficiency in using Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork for advanced tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI agents to large-scale engineering and research challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for conveying intricate technical concepts.
- Experience providing structured feedback and thorough documentation for technical processes.
