Duties

- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the facility and detect suspicious behavior
- Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards
- Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
- Perform loss prevention measures by observing for theft or vandalism and documenting any suspicious activity
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping




- Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently across all areas of the site

Qualifications

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and best practices for deterring theft and vandalism
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods of time in various environments
- Certifications related to security or law enforcement are a plus but not mandatory
