About Our Client Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.

About the Chance - Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple functions, including payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger maintenance.

- Prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Complete and submit indirect tax filings, including GST/HST returns, in accordance with reporting deadlines.
- Reconcile financial accounts regularly to maintain accurate and reliable records.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities.
- Maintain inventory records and fixed asset schedules, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Produce financial reports and analyses to support business decisions and operational planning.
- Ensure financial practices comply with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process payroll on a biweekly schedule while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

About

You - Two to five years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a small or mid-sized organization.





- Strong knowledge of accounting practices, financial reporting, and month-end procedures.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP/accounting system.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
- Previous experience in a retail environment is considered an advantage.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities independently. You must currently reside within the Charlottetown area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
