Reporting to our Global Corporate Controller, as our Senior Accounting Specialist, you'll become an integral member of our Global Finance team, supporting both our global operations and Canadian business. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing accurate work, and is energized by finding better ways to do things. You'll have exposure to a wide range of accounting functions while working closely with colleagues across the organization.

What You'll Do

Banking & Cash Management

- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for both Canadian and U.S. dollar accounts.
- Process EFTs, wire transfers, and other banking transactions.
- Prepare monthly bank deposits.
- Support cash management activities and maintain accurate banking records.

Accounts Payable

- Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements accurately and on time.
- Prepare vendor payments through e-transfer, wire transfers, and other payment methods.
- Coordinate corporate credit card payments and related accounting activities.

Payroll & Benefits





- Process semi-monthly payroll through ADP, including salaries, commissions, and employee allowances.
- Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Complete WSIB reporting and other payroll-related filings.
- Respond to employee payroll and benefits inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.

Tax & Compliance

- Prepare and file GST/HST, PST, QST, and other indirect tax returns.
- Assist with customs duty reporting and related compliance requirements.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis.
- Assist with budgeting activities and communicate meaningful financial variances.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance efficiency.

What You'll Bring You'll be successful in this role if you combine strong technical accounting skills with curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.

We're looking for someone who has:

- 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using accounting and payroll systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP and ADP are assets).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.




- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to build relationships across departments.
- A willingness to embrace change, learn new systems, and continuously improve the way work gets done.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, or working toward a CPA designation would be considered an asset.

Location This is a full-time remote position . While the role is primarily home-based, preference will be given to candidates residing in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) , as occasional visits to our head office are required to retrieve mail and attend team meetings from time to time.

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary range: $65,000–$80,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and location
