This is a key strategic role that combines leadership, operational execution, and financial stewardship. The VP Finance will serve as a trusted advisor to executive management and will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company's Canadian and U.S. operations.This role is ideal for a versatile finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and brings a strong generalist background with experience building, scaling, and evolving finance functions.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a strategic financial advisor to executive leadership, supporting data-driven decision makingLead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecastingManaged project accounting activities including budget tracking, cost analysis, forecasting and financial reporting to ensure alignment with project goals and timelinesOversee accounting activities, including annual audits and reviewsManage internal and external financial reportingContinuously improve finance-related processes and controlsLead HR and payroll operations for both Canada and the U.S.Coordinate tax compliance (including transfer pricing) with local tax advisors and headquartersOversee and coordinate corporate legal with external legal counselCoordinate insurance requirements with global insurance expertMaintain and manage relationships with banking partnersOversee general administration, (e.G. office management, car fleet,
