We are seeking a highly analytical Associate to become part of our Actuarial function, providing analytical support for M&A; activities & strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Support reinsurance and M&A; transactions from due diligence through execution and post-close operating company support.
Build, maintain, and enhance asset and liability cash flow projection models using C#, Python, Excel, and other quantitative tools.
Conduct ad hoc transaction, capital, ALM, profitability, and risk analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Validate, reconcile,
and stress-test models to ensure accuracy, robustness, transparency, and investor confidence.
Improve modeling systems, workflows, automation, and model governance.
Use AI-assisted development tools, automation, and modern analytics platforms responsibly to accelerate modeling and improve analytical quality.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
Excellent academic record and solid evidence of problem-solving ability
Advanced excel and financial modelling skills
Graduate of a selective, top-tier undergraduate program with strong academic performance
Robust quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong coding skills (C#, Python, or other OOP frameworks preferred)
High intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently through ambiguous problems.
Interest in using AI, automation, and technical tools to improve modeling workflow
Prior exp in insurance companies or exposure to actuarial exams
