Salary
CAD $46.37 - $66.66 per hour.
Job Summary
This is a temporary, full‑time Project Coordinator, Pharmacy Planning and Systems Development position at Downtown Community Health Clinic in Vancouver, BC. The role requires an understanding of community pharmacy practice within a primary care setting, including working with complex and underserved patient populations.
The Project Coordinator will support the development and implementation of standardized clinical workflows and services within the community pharmacy dispensary setting. This includes evaluating current workflows, identifying gaps, redesigning workflows, and supporting implementation through education, facilitation, change management, and staff coaching.
Responsibilities
Lead implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project activities following the chosen project management methodology.
Monitor and contribute to budget and resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization.
Lead teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, presentations, and recommendations.
Coordinate with external organizations to identify and document project deliverables.
Ensure coordination of information flow and prepare reports and planning documents.
Monitor progress and implement corrective action to meet reporting requirements.
Provide education and communications about projects to staff and stakeholders.
Assist Pharmacy Leadership in integrating and coordinating resource planning.
Develop systems and reports compiling information from multiple sources to monitor budgets, quality and KPIs.
Partner with managers and staff to design and implement change processes and transition recent service models.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health or Business Administration or related discipline, supplemented by courses in Project Management.
Seven (7) years of recent, related health care management experience, including health planning, project management, and systems development within a complex health or business system.
Active registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC is required.
Strong communication, organizational, and facilitation skills.
Competencies & Technical Capabilities
Leadership, communication, negotiation, change management, and team development.
Ability to lead large complex initiatives with financial analysis and project planning methodologies.
Comfortable in an environment of constant change and redefinition.
Knowledge of other health care disciplines and applicable regulations, legislation, and collective agreements.
Proficiency with relevant software applications and related equipment.
Physical ability to perform job duties.
