Support pipeline construction with Arnett & Burgess Energy Services as a Field-Based Environmental Pipeline Inspector in British Columbia and Alberta. This role is essential for monitoring environmental impacts and compliance during all construction phases.
If you have a strong background in environmental inspection and experience in pipeline projects, this position offers an engaging chance to enforce regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for daily site inspections, reporting on compliance status, and ensuring measures are in place to protect the environment. The job involves working outdoors on a 6 days on/1 day off schedule in rugged conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect construction activities for regulatory compliance
• Conduct regular environmental site assessments
• Manage erosion and sediment control processes
• Observe wildlife interactions and enforce protection measures
• Document all inspection findings thoroughly
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in environmental inspection roles
• Understanding of local environmental laws
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence required
• Certifications in H2S Alive and First Aid / CPR necessary
