Play a crucial role in safety management as the Lead Technician for Avalanche and Aviation at Skeena Gold + Silver's Eskay Creek mine. Focus on operational excellence and safety compliance within a diverse team.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will oversee avalanche safety initiatives and aviation operations for the Eskay Creek project. Your responsibilities will include leading risk assessments and operations coordination, as well as ensuring that best practices in safety and emergency response are followed. This permanent role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact on your team's safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the Avalanche Safety Program's operations
• Lead daily avalanche control and forecasting




• Supervise and guide Avalanche Technicians
• Implement site-wide emergency response plans
• Collaborate on aviation-related safety protocols

Requirements:
• CAA Avalanche professional with Level 2 certification
• Relevant blasting certification for aviation tasks
• OFA Level 3 or advanced first aid certification
• Robust physical fitness and mountain travel experience
• 8 years of experience in avalanche technician roles
