Position Assembly Technician
Location 190 Av. du Voyageur #100, Pointe-Claire, Québec H9R 6A
Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to oversee the assembly of industrial equipment and manage the workflow in assembly and painting cells.
Responsibilities Perform assembly of industrial equipment sensitive rotating assemblies.
Execute work orders and ensure smooth flow of work in progress.
Perform equipment and tools maintenance for the assembly and painting cells.
Create and maintain work instructions for assembly and painting cells.
Conduct quality inspection of completed work orders.
Perform testing for assembled packages as needed.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area and follow all safety rules and procedures.
Maintain consumables stock level for smooth operation.




Supervise assembly and painting/finishing activities.
Assist in evaluating employee performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Requirements Strong mechanical skills.
Professional studies diploma in mechanical, pneumatics, PLC, hydraulics, technical school or relevant experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, bill of materials and quality control documents.
Understanding of mechanical tolerances and precision mechanical devices.
Demonstrated capability to lead change and implement continuous improvement.
Effective interpersonal, leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead, train and motivate teams.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (medium competency).
