What youll be doing

As a Visiting Medical Officer or Staff Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will deliver contemporary, comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care across inpatient, outpatient, surgical and on‑call settings.

Key Aspects Of The Role Include

• Providing high‑quality, evidence‑based obstetric and gynaecological services to optimise patient safety and clinical outcomes


• Managing antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynaecological patients across the full scope of the specialty


• Participating in the departmental on‑call roster to provide timely specialist support


• Supervising, teaching and mentoring junior medical officers, GP Obstetricians and other clinical staff


• Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure protected, patient‑centred care


• Actively participating in clinical governance, audit, risk management and quality improvement initiatives


• Utilising clinical information systems to support informed clinical decision‑making
