As a PA, you will work with an energetic team of surgeons and health professionals, providing exceptional patient-centered care. This role involves performing detailed assessments, assisting in surgeries, and managing post-operative orthopedic and trauma patients. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and manage consultations for inpatients and emergency cases
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide patient education
• Oversee post-operative orthopedic care and coordination of discharge




• Participate in after-hours coverage for the orthopedic department
• Engage in teaching and collaborative research opportunities
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized PA program
• Certification as a Canadian Certified Physician Assistant
• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
• Current HCP CPR certification
• Strong collaborative and reasoning abilities
