Advance your career in oncology with the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency as a full time Radiation Oncologist at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. This permanent role requires expertise in radiation oncology alongside cooperative care.
As a key member of the oncology care team, you will work with nurses, pharmacists, and therapists, utilizing state-of-the-art Varian equipment. The position includes participation in clinical trials and teaching medical students and residents. The role supports both the HDR prostate brachytherapy program and cutting-edge SRS brain and SBRT lung programs to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary oncology care teams
• Utilize advanced Varian equipment for patient treatments
• Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students
• Participate in clinical research trials and treatment planning
• Contribute to expanding existing cancer treatment programs
Requirements:
• Medical degree with radiation oncology subspecialty
• Fellowship in Gynecological Brachytherapy preferred
• Eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan
• Background or training in relevant Oncology practices
• Fluent in written and spoken English
