We are currently seeking an experienced, driven, and dedicated Group Leader to join our Municipal group based in our Barrie or Ottawa office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a new leadership role with a strong focus on business development, project management, and team leadership.

The successful candidate will be a progressive, collaborative and energetic professional engineer with at least 10 years of consulting experience, with a strong background in municipal infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Identify and pursue project opportunities in both existing and emerging markets

Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate new business

Lead proposal development, including work plans, budgets, and schedules Project Management Manage multiple municipal infrastructure projects from inception to completion

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget,



and meet quality standards

Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and internal teams Team Leadership Mentor, develop and lead a team of Project Managers and technical support staff

Foster a team-oriented and high-performance work environment

Support career development and technical growth within the group Key Position Requirements P.Eng. in the province of Ontario, registered with PEO

Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in the consulting environment

Technical leader in relevant sector

Demonstrated abilities as a team leader, responsible for managing a team of support staff

Undertake business development with a desire to do more

Understanding of business metrics and company policies and can work with staff to achieve desired outcomes

Demonstrated high level of commitment

Strong, relevant design and project management experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent technical and analytical skills

Strong knowledge of appropriate design and analysis software

Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards

Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
