The City of Edmonton is looking for a Labourer II for its Infrastructure Maintenance team. This full time role covers pivotal tasks in roadway maintenance, including handling paving materials, operating machinery, and snow management. Ideal candidates thrive in outdoor conditions and prioritize safety in a physically demanding workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist asphalt crews with placement of various paving materials
• Perform heavy manual work using hand and power tools
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment like 2-ton trucks




• Set up site safety measures and traffic control as needed
• Complete work records and participate in safety inspections
Requirements:
• Completion of the 10th school grade
• One year of roadway maintenance experience
• Trained in operating trucks and rollers
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence
• Standard First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certifications
