I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of placements: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.
I am currently seeking a CPA Finance Director for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent, in office position.

Mission
Oversee all of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial statements, cash management, budgets, and financial forecasts
Ensure the timely preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Actively participate in financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic support for senior management
Implement and optimize internal controls, financial processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Oversee the budgeting process, variance analyses, and recommendations for improvement




Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
Support manufacturing and distribution operations in optimizing costs, inventory, and profitability
Lead and develop the finance/accounting team
Participate in various financial transformation and continuous improvement projects
Collaborate closely with various departments to support the company’s growth

Your profile
CPA certification required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management or finance director role
Experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution sectors
Bilingualism in French and English required, both spoken and written
Excellent command of financial statements, financial analysis, and internal controls
Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to prioritize
Proficiency with ERP systems and financial tools
Assets
Experience within a multinational company
Involvement in an ERP implementation or optimization
Experience in a multi-site or multi-entity workplace
