Solar is a new Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch spot in the downtown core and is looking for a couple more strong, experienced Line Cooks to join our team. This will be day and weekend shifts.

The Rocky Mountain Icehouse is our unique pub in the downtown core that changes from an event space to a sports bar depending on what is happening in our wonderful city. Our food has a southern flair and there is always something different every weekend. This is a night position.

Job Summary

We’re on the lookout for some experienced and passionate Line Cooks to work with our kitchen teams. In this role, you’ll be working with the team to ensuring top-quality meal preparation executed in a timely manner. Your expertise will help maintain our standards of food safety, presentation, and efficiency, all while fostering a friendly and collaborative kitchen environment.

Duties

- Oversee the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring they meet quality standards and follow established recipes.




- Assist in food handling and safety practices to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Support food presentation and plating to ensure visually appealing dishes for our guests.
- Lead by example in food safety procedures, including proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during busy service hours.
- Maintain organized workstations and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are stocked appropriately.

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant operations within the food industry. Minimum 5yrs required
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and food service delivery.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
- A passion for delivering high-quality food experiences while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
