For more than 35 years, Adopt Parfums has been making perfumery accessible to everyone, with its made-in-France creations and a rapidly expanding retail network.

Following the opening of our first stores in Canada, we are looking for an Area Manager – Canada to support and structure our growth in this fast-developing market.

Responsibilities

- Management and Team Development
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate sales teams in order to achieve and exceed targets.
- Evaluate employee performance and implement tailored development plans.
- Foster a team-oriented work environment based on excellence and collective success.

- Commercial Strategy and Business Development
- Roll out Adopt’ Parfums’ commercial strategy in Quebec and contribute to its expansion across Canada.
- Monitor commercial results, analyze performance, and propose strategic adjustments.
- Manage budgets required to achieve objectives (revenue, margin, staffing costs).
- Ensure strong field presence to guarantee the effectiveness of commercial operations.

- Strategy Deployment and Coordination
- Act as the link between HQ in France and Canadian operations.
- Conduct competitive monitoring and identify market opportunities.
- Adapt and optimize the product and commercial offering in collaboration with Marketing teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners.

- Performance Monitoring and Management




- Produce regular reports for management (results, challenges, recommendations).
- Track performance indicators and propose corrective action plans.
- Lead steering committees and engage local commercial teams.
- Ensure compliance with and optimization of the allocated budget.

Candidate Profile

- Solid experience in team management and business development, ideally in retail or distribution.
- Strong entrepreneurial skills: autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to build in a growing market.
- Inspiring leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Full proficiency in French and English (bilingualism required).
- Good knowledge of the Quebec market and openness to nationwide expansion.
- Valid driver’s license (company car provided).
