To grow our U.S. organization, we are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team at our US headquarters in Troy, Michigan.

Your Impact

As an Application Engineer, you play a vital role in ensuring customer success and strengthening SensoParts technical reputation in the U.S.



market.

You will:

• evaluate customer applications and conduct feasibility studies using SensoPart vision systems and sensor technologies
• develop and validate technical solutions for integration into PLC- and robot-controlled environments
• support customers during implementation and commissioning
• troubleshoot applications both remotely and on-site
• deliver technical training and product demonstrations to customers and distributors
• build trade show demo systems and support technical marketing initiatives
• collaborate closely with our engineering team in Germany on complex technical topics

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s / Masterss degree in Engineering or related technical field
• experience with machine vision systems or optical sensors
• extensive experience in factory automation or similar environments (no entry position)
• hands-on experience with PLC and/or robot programming
• strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• ability to work independently in customer-facing technical situations
• clear communication skills and a structured working style
• willingness to travel 20-30%
