Lead cutting-edge partnerships at UBC’s Okanagan Campus as the Manager of Operations for the STAR initiative. Your role centers on research collaboration and stakeholder engagement in a complex environment.
This managerial position focuses on developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective governance, and overseeing team-oriented research projects. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in project management, stakeholder relations, and a strong background in research development. You will work independently to support UBC STAR's strategic goals through effective communication and vibrant partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage research and network infrastructure
• Lead the Airborne Sensing Laboratory project
• Oversee STAR administration staff performance
• Manage UBC STAR’s budget and financial policies
• Develop events and educational activities related to research
Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of four years related experience
