About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Innovation Partnerships and Governance. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a focus on designing and operationalizing partnerships, governance structures, and policy frameworks that foster transformative innovation. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective delivery of key projects and in providing executive-level counsel to senior government leadership. The Executive Director will be responsible for building and sustaining trusted relationships with various stakeholders, including industry, post-secondary institutions, and different levels of government,



to ensure that innovation investments yield measurable outcomes.

Applicants for the Executive Director position should be trusted and influential leaders with extensive senior management experience. The role requires a demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, advance policy development, and enable effective cross-ministry coordination. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fostering collaboration, navigating complex stakeholder settings, and driving process improvement. A bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The Executive Director will also be expected to have a deep understanding of government systems and governance, and to be skilled in shaping government-wide innovation policy.
