Drive innovation in Indigenous social work education as the Experiential Learning Cohort Supervisor for FNTI's Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work Program. This full-time role emphasizes community engagement and experiential learning through hybrid delivery.
Reporting to the Manager of Experiential Learning, this position is essential in ensuring curriculum quality and community collaboration. You will supervise the delivery of Integrated Experiential Learning courses, focusing on inclusivity and equity while supporting learners through tailored plans and assessments. Enhancing community partnerships will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and instruct IEL courses with learner-centered approaches
• Implement supportive learning and ceremonial environments
• Track learner progress and manage documentation
• Build relationships with external site teams and partners
• Participate in committees to support program development
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work or equivalent graduate degree
• 5+ years' teaching and practical experience required
• Robust understanding of Indigenous pedagogies
• Proven community engagement and mentorship skills
• Must be willing to travel and maintain flexible hours
